As far as tea is concerned, depending on personal choices, one can choose to view detailed information from our various products.
As far as tea ware is concerned, we designed 5 gram black tea and 7 gram oolong tea packets based upon Gaiwans or teapots with a volume of 120cc. The following brewing methods all use 120cc of water, 5 grams of black tea or 7 grams of oolong tea as the standard. If your tea ware is different in size than the standard, please adjust the brewing methods to fit your needs.
Water is the crucial medium in brewing a good cup of tea. The characteristics of each tea leaf will attribute to a difference in taste depending on the quality of the water. In regards to water, our tea specialists, for the most part, suggest the usage of spring water or mountain water with a mineral content between 40~70PPM for brewing tea.
The following instructions are suggested brewing methods and duration for each tea type:
1.Alishan Oolong Tea
For winter tea, please use boiling water with a water temperature between 95~100 degrees Celsius.
1.Warm Tea: Place tea leaves into the center of the tea ware, pour in approximately 80cc of boiling water, then pour out into a warm cup after 5 seconds for consumption.
2.The duration for the first infusion is 90 seconds; the duration for the second and third infusion are both 80 seconds; the fourth infusion should take 90 seconds, with the fifth infusion taking 100 seconds.
2.Shanlin River Oolong Tea
For winter tea, please use boiling water with a water temperature between 95~100 degrees Celsius.
1.Warm Tea: Place tea leaves into the center of the tea ware, pour in approximately 80cc of boiling water, then pour out into a warm cup after 5 seconds for consumption.
The duration for the first infusion is 120 seconds; the duration for the second infusion is 110 seconds, and third infusion is 120 seconds; the fourth infusion should take 130 seconds, with the fifth infusion taking 150 seconds.
3.Dong Ding Tea
Please use boiling water with a water temperature between 95~100 degrees Celsius.
1.Warm Tea: Place tea leaves into the center of the tea ware, pour in approximately 80cc of boiling water, then pour out into a warm cup after 5 seconds for consumption.
The duration for the first infusion is 100 seconds; the duration for the second infusion and the third infusion are both 90 seconds; the fourth infusion should take 100 seconds, with the fifth infusion taking 120 seconds.
4.Peach Jinxuan Tea
Please use boiling water with a water temperature between 95~100 degrees Celsius.
1.Warm Tea: Place tea leaves into the center of the tea ware, pour in approximately 80cc of boiling water, then pour out into a warm cup after 5 seconds for consumption.
The duration for the first infusion is 100 seconds; the duration for the second infusion is 90 seconds while the third infusion is 110 seconds; the fourth infusion should take 120 seconds, with the fifth infusion taking 150 seconds.
5.Dayuling Oolong Tea
For winter tea, please use boiling water with a water temperature between 95~100 degrees Celsius.
1.Warm Tea: Place tea leaves into the center of the tea ware, pour in approximately 80cc of boiling water, then pour out into a warm cup after 5 seconds for consumption.
The duration for the first infusion is 130 seconds; the duration for the second infusion is 120 seconds, and third infusion is 150 seconds; the fourth infusion should take 130 seconds, with the fifth infusion taking 180 seconds.
6.Alishan Hongshui Oolong Tea
Please use boiling water with a water temperature between 95~100 degrees Celsius.
1.Warm Pot: Place tea leaves into the center of the tea ware, pour in approximately 80cc of boiling water, then pour out into a warm cup after 5 seconds for consumption.
The duration for the first infusion is 90 seconds; the duration for the second infusion and the third infusion are both 60 seconds; the fourth infusion should take 90 seconds, with the fifth infusion taking 120 seconds.
7.Sun Moon Lake Black Tea
Please use boiling water with a water temperature between 95~100 degrees Celsius.
1.Warm Pot: Place tea leaves into the center of the tea ware, pour in approximately 80cc of boiling water, then pour out into a warm cup after 5 seconds for consumption.
2.The duration for the first infusion is 50 seconds while the duration for the second infusion is 50 seconds as well; the third infusion is 70 seconds; the fourth infusion should take 80 seconds, with the fifth infusion taking 100 seconds.
8.Honey Scented Black Tea
Please use boiling water with a water temperature between 95~100 degrees Celsius.
1.Warm Pot: Place tea leaves into the center of the tea ware, pour in approximately 80cc of boiling water, then pour out into a warm cup after 5 seconds for consumption.
2.The duration for the first infusion is 40 seconds while the duration for the second infusion is 40 seconds as well; the third infusion is 50 seconds; the fourth infusion should take 60 seconds, with the fifth infusion taking 80 seconds.
9.Rose Gongfu Black Tea
Please use boiling water with a water temperature between 95~100 degrees Celsius.
